Last fall I started corresponding with a Romanian pastor by the name of Catalin Croitor. He is pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Suceava, Romania, and also provides leadership to 83 churches in their regional district. Even before the war in Ukraine, pastor Catalin was a busy man, but that has only intensified since February, when the war began. Located not far from the Ukraine border, his church started taking in refugees and helping any way they could, including taking trips into Ukraine carrying thousands of pounds of food and supplies to those who need it most.
Though I have never met pastor Catalin personally, I know that he is a “faithful minister” (Colossians 1:7), and is truly doing the work of the Lord. Below you will find an interview that is definitely worth your time. If you are interested in getting involved, let me know and I will get you in touch with Catalin. And let’s not forget to continue to pray for the situation in Ukraine, that God would use this crisis for gospel advance.
