12 Obligations of the Christian Life – Colossians 3:1-17

  1. Seek the things that are above (verse 1)
  2. Set your mind on Heavenly things (verse 2)
  3. Put to death what is earthly in you (verses 5-9)
  4. Put on the new self, being renewed in the knowledge of God (verse 10)
  5. Live with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience (verse 12)
  6. Forgive one another, just as Christ forgave you (verse 13)
  7. Put on love (verse 14)
  8. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts (verse 15)
  9. Be thankful (verse 15)
  10. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (verse 16)
  11. Teach and admonish one another (verse 16)
  12. Do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus (verse 17)
